This handmade, slab-built vessel with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, shows the texture and imprint of human touch. It is a rebellion against perfection and machine made creations. The texture comes from spring plants in my garden, pressed into clay. This creates a realistic, but stylized call to nature. A pale blue glossy glaze with white splashes across a pink matte background. The vessel is approximately 4in in diameter, by 4.75in high, with a a 1.25in opening. This vessel is a second, as it has some slight cracks around the bottom seam, and will not hold water.
